IOS10 Apple Update
When a user attempts to deposit a check, a black bar appears during the image capture of the check. The black bar does not impact the deposit. Deposits can be submitted as usual. The black bar appears in portrait mode and requires the four corners of the deposited check are within the viewable area. NOT the brackets. If the check is not positioned within the viewable area, the end user will receive an error message.
QUICKBOOKS USERS AND ONLINE BANKING NOTICE
Some QuickBooks users trying to access online banking from within QuickBooks are receiving an “Account not available” message. It has been confirmed by Intuit that this is a legacy issue within the last several releases of QuickBooks.
Until a permanent resolution is developed, Intuit recommends an alternative for online bankers experiencing this issue:
LOG IN DIRECTLY TO YOUR INSTITUTION’S ONLINE BANKING SITE (OUTSIDE OF QUICKBOOKS) TO DOWNLOAD VIA WEB CONNECT FROM WITHIN ONLINE BANKING.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, and we are certain that Intuit will resolve this issue as soon as possible.
MOBILE BANKING & DEPOSIT NOW AVAILABLE
Simply log into online banking with your mobile device or go to your App Store to download.
For your added convenience, Peoples Bank customers can access free of charge Queenstown Bank ATM’s with their Peoples Bank debit card for the purpose of cash withdrawals and balance inquiries.
Keep an Eye on Your Accounts
Monitoring your account regularly is a good practice. There are currently reports of counterfeit check schemes in Maryland. Please contact us if you should experience any suspicious ACH or check transactions.
